Some passions cut so deep
You measure it in leagues
His eyes were like a sheep
But his bay was far from bleating
His heart gentle enough
Enough to mimic love
Enough to draw my touch
Bathe his brother’s blade in blood
And now we circle ‘round and around
Around and around
Around and around
Some penance is so wry
You just can’t help but smile
Now we’ve got nothing but time
Tail of minos ‘round us twice
Now draw my touch again
Draw through the tempest wind
The dizziness and sin
Draw me close enough to kiss
While we circle ‘round and around
Around and around
Around and around

The aesthetic of both the music and visuals to this album are top notch. Much more focused sound compared to NMG, Rocky and popy with great hooks.
I also have a weakness for good cross fades too leekoid

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
